Come join our first “LIFE WALK”
every Monday

Noble Park Greenway

Join a community of support by sharing life experiences and building support through positive interactions. It is a fact that walking helps lose pounds and gain strength. But, experts say, walking has other equally important benefits. Walking helps combat energy drainers, such as depression, anxiety, tension and fatigue. The slower pace of walking allows us to take in the people and scenery on our outings, and allows us to experience a sense of belonging and community which contributes to our spiritual well-being. As Mark Fenton stated so well in The Complete Book of Walking, “Burn calories and build muscle all you want, but remember that your brain and soul may be the pieces of your anatomy that benefit the most from walking”.

So join us to calm the mind, meet your community and seeing scenery from a different perspective. These are not related to any specific belief system.

Meet at shelter behind the basketball courts
5 to 10 minute discussion and then walking the Greenway!
